Hi, I’m Nico Osorio, a U18 AAA hockey player with lots of coaching experience. I’ve been playing hockey since I was 5, starting with the Knights organization before making my way up to the AAA level.
I’ve had some pretty awesome moments, like winning 2 league titles, taking 3rd at the OHF Provincials, and being a Silver Stick Regional Champion.
I was the captain on my AA team, moving on to both U16 and U18 AAA teams in the GTHL. I have volunteered with various Learn to Play and Hockey Canada’s First Shift programs, coaching young players from ages four through to ten.
Off ice, I enjoy playing golf, soccer, and working out. I spend my summers working on my landscaping business.

We have been playing hockey together for over 10 years. Along the way, we’ve been to tons of training camps. Some were great, but honestly, not many were able to make learning hockey fun.
Most camps focused on skills, but we didn’t feel the excitement and energy that comes with actually playing the game. That’s where Nexus Hockey comes in. We’ve created a place where kids can develop both their individual and team skills while having a blast.
We believe that learning hockey should be fun and engaging – so we keep the energy high, all while helping players improve their skills for the journey ahead.

Hi, I'm Nathan. I am an energetic and passionate hockey player who enjoys coaching the youth.
I captain my school’s varsity hockey team and I previously captained my own competitive teams. I have been playing hockey since I was 4 years old. I now play for the U17 AA Leaside Flames as I continue to help out around the youth hockey community. I have been a volunteer coach with players aged 4-13 for the past four years.
Along the way, I have accomplished many feats including one NYHL championship, two GTHL championships, and placing third in the OHF provincials. I have volunteered with various Learn to Play and Hockey Canada’s First Shift programs, coaching young players from ages four through ten.
Off ice, I enjoy playing baseball, golf, pool, and basketball. I also like to spend my summers camping with family and friends, swimming at beaches, as well as canoeing and fishing with my grandfather.
Our goal at Nexus Hockey is to help new-to-hockey, or nearly-new-to-hockey players improve their skills, allowing them to play confidently in House League, Select and beyond. We strive to accomplish this by creating a supportive, fun-based program.
